I know I said I would podcast up last week, but time got away with me. This week was a lot of fun. I got my brother, aka Yarn Man, to join me this week, and although he doesn't knit, he likes to podcast. Contest from Episode #2 is still going with Jessica R being the first winner. 4 Slots left for prizes! Also, soon to be up is a MySpace page for the podcast! Be sure to check it out shortly. This week Yarn Man and I (Miss KnitWit) ramble about knitting and many different things. Cookies were definitely involved. The song this week was Al Phlipp and the Woo Team: If I Were A Millionaire (And I Lived On the Moon). Maybe we'll get Yarn Man involved in another episode before I leave for college. (Spring Arbor University: Go Cougars!) And Brownies may or may not be involved with a hybrid overload of caffeine!! Hahaha. Na na na na na Yarn Man! (Yarn Man).

It's only been 2.5 weeks, and I'm back. This week I talk about the socks on the needles, patterns that I am working on, that I want to knit, and want to design in the future. I also talk about some interesting yarn pRon that has me interested in selling my kidney, and other things found on Etsy. I talk about the Michigan Fiber Festival, the College Knitters Swap that is soon-to-be, and the possibility of finding a partner-in-crime. There's also a contest this week! Check out the blog: magiknits AT blogspot DOT com. Etsy store: magiknits DOT etsy DOT com. Email your contest answers to: magiknits AT yahoo DOT com. Music featured: If I Rule The World-Al Phlipp and the Woo Team

Okay, so this was the first in a (hopeful) series of podcasts for MagiKnits, run by me, Stephanie. It was 10.30 at night and I was doing it then because I had a bad encounter with my angled ceiling against my head, and I had a terrible headache and had this irrational belief that I had a concussion. Luckily, I actually didn't have the concussion, just a bump and a bruise. Yay. In the show I talk about some (possibly) vintage (or just really really old) La Gran Mohair yarn, Lion Brand Magic Stripes, and some Norweigian/German yarn that I can't think/pronounce the name of. I also talk about Magiknits, and how I'm still not quite sure on how to pronounce it, although I came up with it myself, my patterns, and, of course, sock knitting and my ever growing addiction to knitting. I think I talk about Claudia hand painted yarn as well. Not too sure. Can you blame me? It was late. I was tired. So the show didn't actually come out as well as I had hoped, but that can only mean one thing: Next time drink coffee! Haha. Just kidding. It can only go up from here. Also, the song in the podcast is Ring My Bells by Enrique Iglesias. Hopefully I can find some good songs to put in the podcasts. Google here I come! Haha.
Happy Knitting!
Stephanie
